If you are just visiting www.theuxprodigy.com or using one of our online services (for example, booking a seat and/or making a payment for one of our workshops or webinars or contacting us for the provision of our in-house training services), these terms and conditions apply to you.

This website is owned, operated and provided subject to these terms and conditions by THE UXPRODIGY EE, a company incorporated under the Laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece), the Legal Seat of which is situated in the municipality of Amarousion, Attica, GREECE (D. Gounari street 96, PO BOX 15125), tax registry number (Α.Φ.Μ.) 800956779, business registry number (Γ.Ε.ΜΗ.) 145720001000, e-mail info@theuxprodigy.com (hereinafter referred to as “theuxprodigy.com”, "theUXProdigy", "us", "we" or "our").

We provide online features and other services to you when you visit our website. On our website you can book a seat for one of our public workshops or webinars and make a payment for those training services or request a quote for our in-house training.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website and online services. By accessing, viewing, browsing, using, transmitting, caching, storing and/or otherwise utilising our website, the services or functions offered therein and by making any transaction on our website in any way through whatever platform you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to each and all of these terms and conditions, please do not use theuxprodigy.com and refrain from making any further use of this website.

We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time.

Our website is not intended for use by minors, and if you are a minor, we urge you to refrain from using it any further.

Use this website for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any false or fraudulent inquiries about our products or services, is not permitted. You are not allowed to post or distribute on this website any software or other materials which contain a virus or other harmful component(s).

You are not allowed to use, copy, monitor, display, download, re-sell, deep-link, or reproduce any content or information, software, products or services available on our website for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose unless you have our express permission.

3. BOOKING FOR PUBLIC WORKSHOPS AND WEBINARS

Booking Confirmation

When you book a seat for one of our public workshops or webinars this is an offer from you to us for the provision of our respective training services. After you register to attend one of our training events (public workshop or webinar) and make a full payment for your booking, we will send you an email confirmation which will confirm that we received your booking request and payment. If you have not received an email confirmation within seven (7) working days after registering, please contact us to ensure that your registration request has been received and that a seat or a course is still available. Your contract is with THE UXPRODIGY EE.

 

Payment Policy

Your registration is not complete until full payment is received. If your company requires an invoice, please send us a reply on the email confirmation you will receive from us, following your registration. 

 

Access Requirements

If you have any special access requirements (such as wheelchair access), please notify us when you register so we can accommodate you at the event.

 

Cancellation, Substitution, and Refund Policy

If you must cancel after registering, you must provide written notice to the event organizer (email to info@theuxprodigy.com). If your cancellation notice is received fourteen (14) days before the training event, a 20% handling fee will be retained and the remaining 80% of the amount paid will be refunded. No refunds will be granted after this date. However, we can accept a substitute attendee if we receive a written request (via email) from the registered attendee at least three (3) days prior to the start of the event. 

 

Availability

Registration for one of our workshops is on a first come first served basis and once the workshop is full, a reserve list might be kept. If a seat for a workshop or webinar becomes unavailable after the placement of your booking request, we will contact you, within a reasonable time. We provide no guarantee for the availability of our services, but we will inform you in a timely manner about their unavailability.

 

Trainer substitutions and workshop postponements or cancellations

We reserve the right to postpone an entire event. If a workshop or webinar is postponed, after we have received payment for your registration and have sent you an email confirmation, then we will contact you, within a reasonable time, and offer you the option to either accept the postponement to a different date or receive a full refund.

We also reserve the right to substitute speakers or cancel the entire event. In such cases, our liability is limited to fully refunding the registration fees. Speakers may need to be substituted in case of illness, accidents, or other issues that prevent a scheduled speaker from presenting as planned. For any canceled event, we will try to arrange the next one with the same terms as soon as possible.

By registering to attend a training event (public workshop or webinar) you agree to our Public Workshop and Webinar Terms. 

 

4. PRICING

VAT is not applicable to the prices of our educational services on our website (public workshops, webinars, etc). Even though we try to present you at all times with the correct prices of our services on our website, please note that some of our services may be mispriced. Before we take your payment, we will always verify our prices. If a service's correct price is lower than the price on our website, we will charge you the lower amount.

 

5. METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept the following methods of payment: credit, debit, or prepaid card.

We accept electronic payments with credit, debit, or prepaid Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express and Diners cards.

All card payments are processed through Alpha Bank's secure electronic payment environment (Alpha e-Commerce). If you choose this method of payment, please refer to Alpha Bank's website for details regarding your use of their services (www.alpha.gr/en/business/myalpha/e-commerce-e-payments/alpha-e-commerce).

We do not collect or store in any way your card details, so you need to re-submit them each time you use your card for transactions on our website.

 

6. DISCLAIMER

You agree that you use theuxprodigy.com at your own risk. The content, services and materials on our website are provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis without representations or warranties of any kind either express or implied. The content of this website is not and can not in any way be interpreted as providing advice, directly or indirectly encouraging users to take any action.

We are committed to maintain the quality, completeness and validity of the information provided on this website regarding the identity of theuxprodigy.com and the services provided by us, subject to any technical or typographical errors that can not be predicted or have occurred inadvertently or due to interruptions to the proper functioning of this website because of force majeure events. When you request a public workshop, we are under no obligation to organize the requested workshop. We endeavor to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, no data transmission over the Internet is guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, theUXProdigy takes no responsibility for and will not be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control. We will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or punitive damages, losses or costs suffered, incurred or paid by you, pursuant to, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use or delay in the use of our website. In any case, we reserve the right to at any time temporarily or permanently discontinue the operation of all or part of our website for maintenance or updating purposes or for any reason whatsoever.

We are not responsible or liable for (and have no obligation to verify) any wrong or misspelled or inaccurate information submitted by you.

These terms and conditions and the provision of our online services (booking a seat for one of our public workshops or webinars, etc) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Any dispute arising out of these terms and conditions and the provision of our online services (as above) shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Athens, Greece.
